Yeah, this season wasnt the best ever of realsoccer. There are a lot of factors to it, the biggest is haxball is slowly but surely dying. Its not a secret there was a lot of issues with the admins too. I would be the first to call anyone out if there is something wrong and I would be happy to troll the shit out of someone for being obnoxious or biased. But to be honest, at the end of season I really feel like the admins are trying. After 18 matchdays I believe the admins finally hear us. Yeah, you could say that the first snowball of unfairness was thrown by the admin team but that snowball is a glacier now and we are all part of it.
I think its time to admit our mistakes too. We are too egoistic for example. Obviously everyone wants to win but there is no joy in scoring when the other team's DM is still on the toilet. There is no honor in winning when the opponents think you dont deserve it. There is no point of playing realsoccer when you dont play it for fun, instead you play it for 3 points in a league for a game which hasnt been updated for 2 years.
I think we all should take a step backward and think about this game. Not the league, the game. Realsoccer needs 8 players plus a referee, a guy who sacrifices 20-80 minutes to let 2 teams play. This game is literally unplayable without respect for the other teams and the community as a whole. Everyone should think about this. I already did and here is my conclusion: If you cant play realsoccer fairly then dont play it at all. There is no point in playing this modification of a dead game without fairness and respect because it is based on fairness and respect.
What I think would be the best plan from now on is changing our attitude. Do not focus on how to punish or fuck opponents up. Instead, try to aim for fun. Accept the wildcard 10 minutes after the match was supposed to start, a fun match another day is better than no fun at all. Forget deflosses. Forget bans. Forget exploiting the rules in your favor. Forget relying on the referee when it comes to fair play or something. We could play the best and most fun season ever if we just forget about the rules and think for a moment what the other team's see from their perspective. I dont know about you but I am a nerd, I play a lot of games and I am pretty grateful for this community. There is much much less toxicity and fighting than in any other scene. Just play a match of LoL, csgo or anything. You will see that we should be happy we have each other to play against.
My suggestions for the next season is: delete all rules. Lets assume we are here for the same reason: to have fun. We dont need written guidelines to know what is right or wrong. This is like the 15th season of realsoccer for most of us for fucks sake. Rules just offer a chance to exploit them because they obviously dont make the game more fun. If your first question now is 'how to punish an unfair team without rules' then your doing it wrong. Every single fucking player in this league knows very well what is right or wrong. Everyone, even Emiralay.
By now you will say I am wrong, this will never work and stop smoking weed. But the truth is it would. Not only it would; this is the only way it should be played. No offense admins, but you made bad decisions even with these strict and straightforward rules. I am pretty sure you are capable of making right decisions without any rules, just focusing on doing the right thing.
Stop this nonsense. We dont need advocates and lawyers for a fucking haxball league. Expect fairness, show a good example and there it is. It will just simply work. I will be the first one to follow you and I am pretty sure others will too. I know everyone here just wants to have fun. And most importantly: I believe the current admin team can run the league so everyone is happy and having fun. Lets forget this season, learn from our mistakes and help each other. Only we can make realsoccer great again.

ps.: I dont like the current referee thingy. Maybe we should let teams play with autoref, there are quite a few teams which I trust more than a decent referee. Or maybe we should encourage it. The only thing I know for sure its a pain in the ass to find a referee sometimes. I feel like I have to apologise too, because I wasnt active either.
