Due to many complainments and scared opinions, we will stay with the old system. 12 teams, 22 matchdays. No divisions.
I still want to tell you my thoughts and the idea.
22 matchdays + Cup = 26-28 matchdays probably. 13-14 weeks. 3 months. There were always teams that couldnt stay alive for such a long period. If you compare with the divisions idea, we would have like 6 matchdays less. 3 weeks less.
"I see the danger that Teams will get inactive once they are in the "loser" Group of last 6 " - So if a team lost 15 of 15 matches, they will be more motivated to fight in the competition? That would be weird. In this smaller divisions there wouldnt be such a big gap of the skill level. I think its better for the teams atmosphere to play tight and tensing matches in "Div 2" then losing regularly vs the "Div 1 teams" like 5-10:0. (This is actually no offence towards any team). Its actually my bad that I forgot to mention the div 2 winners tag on ts which could be an extra motivation aswell.
Due to the summer holidays and stuff, the admin team is kinda splitted or busy with sunburning. So the organization wasnt pretty easy, but we announced the league and teams are very active. So we didnt want to delay the season again. I admit we should have asked for the communities opinion, but there is a clear opinion and we want to undo our "mistake ".
The fixtures will be completed in the next days. Matchday 1 and 2 can be found already on our website http://wah.bplaced.net/index.php/standin...-rf/209/0/0/0/0 .
______________
Referee situation: Teams can use the Ref bot. Would be still important to have a "Ref" to watch out for things like the distance (lines) and overtime.
If the captains or the specs will do this job doesnt really matter.
For now we didnt plan to make the rules about the lines as strict as the polish league. If there are too many violations in the first matches, we will change the rules tho.
Normal Refs are still allowed. Would be nice if people with Auto Ref could share their hosts for other teams to make it easier.
Good luck for tomorrow.
