1. Conditions of participation
1.1 Line-up
Every Team needs at least -6- Players. The maximum of players for a team is limited on 12 Players. Every Team receives a Line-up thread under the corresponding forum section. Every change on the Line-Up (Adding a new player, cutting an old player) needs to be written down in the Line-up thread. Only the captain and co-captains are allowed to make changes in the Line-up thread. A new signed player is obliged to confirm in the Line-up thread.
A player is allowed to cut himself from the team. A team can only have one captain and a maximum limit of three co-captains.
1.2 Forum account
Every player who wants to participate in this league needs to create a forum account. (to confirm at least his signing for a team). Player without a valid forum account are not allowed to take part on the official games in this league. The nickname from the forum and the nickname from the Line-Up of a team should optimally match. It should be at least guaranteed that it’s obvious discernible about which player it’s about.
2. The league daily routine
2.1 Matchdays
There are 2 official matchdays with fixed dates per week.
-Monday: 20:30 CET, 21:30 CET, 21:45 CET, 22:15 CET (top game)
-Thursday: 20:30 CET, 21:30 CET, 21:45 CET 22:15 CET (top game)
It is possible that during the season individual games will be streamed (top games at 22:15 CET). With a registry in this league, a team agrees automatically to take part in a livestream.
The WAH-Admins will decide only with an agreement from the two teams which postponed the top game, if and which other game will be declared as the top game to offer a stream.
2.2 Game settings (league)
For league games there is only the following game setting to use:
- Mode: 4n4
- Game time: 2 x 10 Minutes (Change sides at halftime)
- Show room on list: no
- Score limit: None
- Time limit: None
- Stadium: https://nofile.io/f/QS98AUsRBJA/WAH_2.0.hbs.
2.3 Game settings (cup)
For cup games there is only the following game setting to use:
- Mode: 4n4
- Game time: 2 x 10 Minutes (Change sides at halftime)
- Game timer (Overtime): 2 x 5 Minutes (Change sides at halftime)
- Show room on list: no
- Score limit: None
- Time limit: None
- Stadium: https://nofile.io/f/QS98AUsRBJA/WAH_2.0.hbs.
- Stadium (for penalty shootout): http://haxmaps.com/map/1188
The cup will be played as a normal K.O. tournament.
2.4 League placement
For the rankings in the table are following aspects important. (Sorted by decreasing priority)
1. Number of Points (win = 3 points, draw = 1 point, loss = 0 points)
2. Goal difference
3. Number of scored goals
4. Head-to-head record
The teams with the best places are qualifying for EL and CL in case there is one.
2.5 Defwin/Defloss
A Defwin means a 3:0 win.
A Defloss means a 0:3 loss.
If a team is responsible that a game didn’t get played, receives the team a 0:3 defloss and the opponent team a 3:0 defwin. Even games that already got played can be changed to a defwin/defloss. This could happen by a massive infringement as an example. In this case all stats will be canceled and the result will be changed into a 3:0 defwin or a 0:3 defloss.
2.6 Referees
Every official game needs to get led by a referee. Every team that takes part in the league will be set as a “Referee-Team” for games. As example: Team A plays against Team B, Team C is set as Referee-Team. That means Team C is responsible to send a player from their team to ref this game. Every signed player from the team is allowed to ref the game. A game without a referee is not allowed. The referee is the only person that is allowed to use the administration rights after the kick-off. Breaking this rule will end with a punishment! The host, or a player with administration rights is only allowed to pause the game in case the referee gets an disconnect for example.
You need to accept all decisions from the referee and you need to follow all instructions from the referee!
2.7 Wildcards
Game-Wildcards
If a team cannot play on the official matchday they need to postpone the game with a Game-Wildcard. The teams needs to open a Wildcard-Thread for that in the forum section. Only Captains and Co-Captains are allowed to use game-wildcards. The game-wildcard is only valid when the team used the wildcard at least 1 hour before the official kick-off would start. Game-wildcards which are used to late are only accepted when the opponent team agrees on it. For the league games every team gets -6- wildcards. For the K.O. part of the cup are unlimited wildcards for every team - but the rules on how to use a game-wildcard are still active! For every postponed game the teams get 3 matchday to play the official game. Example: Wildcard game MD1 must be played until MD4. All matches must be played until last matchday and the team cannot postponed the last Matchday!
2.8 Transfers
Player transfers always needs to be announced in the line-up thread of the team.
You should please be aware of the correct form:
- Signing a player: +Player name (Nationality)
- Cutting a player: - Player name
Every new signed player needs to confirm with a post in the line-up thread of the team. Otherwise they are not allowed to play the official games. New players need to confirm at least 1 hour before the official Kick-Off time otherwise they are not allowed to play on that matchday. That also means that new players are not allowed to play in postponed matches!
2.8.1 Transfer windows
There are two official transfer windows where player can change their team. Between those transfer windows is no opportunity to change his team. But you can cut a player or yourself from the line-up at every time. Transfer windows are from:
1. End of the Check-In until 19:30 CET of the 3rd Matchday
2. End of the first leg of the season until 19:30 of the first matchday in the second leg of the season or CUP Match.
A player that leaves his team or gets cut after the end of the first transfer window won’t be able to join a team until of the start of the second transfer window. A player that leaves his team or gets cut after the end of the second transfer window won’t be able to join a team until of the end of the current season.
2.8.2 Free agents
Free agents are players that aren’t signed for any team at the end of a transfer window.
Those players can be signed between the transfer windows at any day.
Example: Player XY leaves his team before matchday 3 (that means during the first transfer window). So he could join a team for example at matchday 5 without any problems.
2.9 Disbanding of a team
If a team disbands during the season results that for every game into a 0:3 defloss. All scorer points will be removed. The WAH admins have the right to disband any team for reasons like massive bad behavior. If a team gets 3 deflosses during the season gets the team disbanded as well (Cup and league count both as one). If the team-captain disbands his team every player will become a free agent except for the team-captain. Is a disband of a team forced by the WAH admins is every player blocked until the next transfer window.
3. Organization of matches
Of course only players that are registered and signed for a team are allowed to play in an official game.
3.1 Players nickname
The nickname in a room during an official game should be the exact forum name. However a little difference in the nickname is still allowed.
Positive Example: The player “Schnuppel” joins the room as “Schnuppi”, “Schnupp” or “Schnuppameyang”. In those cases there shouldn’t be a risk of confusion.
Negative Example: The player “Schnuppel” joins the room as “S” or in the worst case with a complete different nickname like “Prinzenrolle”. In this case it’s not possible to guarantee to 100% that this would be Schnuppel. If a player plays with a complete different nickname is it possible that the game will be afterwards turned into a 0:3 defloss for that team with the player with the complete different nickname.
3.2 Host
A game will be played on one host only if both teams can play on it. It is recommended to search a good host already before the game starts. In case there is no host available that guarantees a fair match for both halves are both teams allowed to host one half. But it’s still very important that a host is playable for the opponent team! A team has the right for a test to see if the host is playable for the own team. A game can only be canceled or postponed when there massive ping problems and majority of players have ping problems. In this case you need to contact an admin immediately.
3.3 Waiting times, Absence and 3vs4-Mode
The prescribed waiting time for a team is 10 minutes (for example 20:30 CET is the official kick-off time so you would wait until 20:40 CET). In case the team is still not able to compete with a full line-up after the 10 minutes the other team has the right to take a defwin. In this case you should make a screenshot which includes the exact time. To start a game in 3vs4 mode or with even less players is not allowed.
3.4 Substitutions
During the halftime break, a team can make as many changes as it wants. During a half are only 2 substitutions allowed. Substitutions can only happen after a goal, before a GK or before CK. In case it goes out to a throw you need the agreement of the opponent’s team. The same player can be multiply times subbed off and in. (Every sub however still counts for the 2 subs per half) A substitution counts as completed when the game got unpaused and continues after the sub.
3.5 Interruption of the game & pause function
Only the referee is allowed to pause the game. Normally the referee is only allowed to pause the game when the ball is somewhere in the out. In extreme cases (Referee is lagging and can’t see anything, Room is crashing or the room got a freeze) is he allowed to pause the game. In case the referee isn’t able to stop in those extreme moment the game is a player with administration rights allowed to use the pause function as well. In case a player is lagging and says P is the referee only allowed to press P when the ball is in the out and one of those teams won’t get a huge advantage or disadvantage.
3.6 Leaving during a running game
Team
If a team leaves during a running game, will the team be punished with a 0:3 defloss. There in total 3 possible scenarios.
- In case the leaving team had the lead in a game, will the game be counted as a 3:0 defwin for the opponent team
- In case the leaving team left during a draw, will be the 3:0 defwin added for the opponent team to the current result. Example: Its 2:2, Team B is leaving the room. Final result would be 5:2 for Team A. All scorer points until the 2:2 will be counted.
- In case the leaving team left during being behind, will be the 3:0 defwin added for the opponent team to the current result. Example: Its 3:1, Team B with only 1 goal is leaving. The final result is then 6:1. All scorer points until the 3:1 will be counted.
Those rules are valid as soon as a team can’t compete with more than 3 players.
Player
If a single player of a team leaves the room, will the game continue until it’s for the next time outside of the pitch. The referee is now allowed to pause the game. That team with 3 players got now a maximum of 3 minutes to call the player back or to call a sub. In case it’s a throw the opponent team needs to agree that the sub can happen. In case the team is not able to find a 4th in those 3 minutes then the game continues as long as a 4th player joins.
3.7. Standard Situation
A standard situation arises when the game ball leaves the field of play. This is the case, if the ball has crossed an off line in its entirety. There are 3 different standard situations
1. Throw-Ins
It comes to a throw-in when the ball leaves the field of play. The referee says in the chat with “R” (for Team Red) and “B” (for Team Blue) which team gets the throw-in. The throw-in should be taken at the point where the ball was going out. Referees are allowed to send the position of a player back until the right position is reached. The defending team needs to keep a certain distance. By the throw-in needs the ball to get kicked into the field before the ball completely crosses the line. It is not allowed to play a throw-in to yourself. A fail throw will lead to a throw for the opponent team.
2. Goalkick
If a player carries the ball through a shot / a pass / a last touch over the goal off line of the opponent team, ends this into a goal kick. This is indicated by the referee with a "GK" in the chat. The kick off needs to happen by using the booster. The defending team is not allowed to stay in the penalty area of the opponent’s team.
3. Corner
If a player carries the ball through a defensive action / a bad pass / a last touch on the own goal off line or by a wrong goal kick, gets the opponent a corner. This is indicated by the referee with "CK" in the chat. The corner kick needs to be played with the booster. The player who takes the corner kick is not allowed to enter on the pitch before the ball was played through the booster. The defending team needs to stay outside of the drawn line.
3.8 Cards
As usual, we distinguish between the yellow card, the yellow-red card and the red card in our league. The cards may be given by the referee during competitive matches after a violation of the rules. In general, cards are not seasonal and cards in league and cup are separated. If a player receives his 3rd yellow card during the league game, he is suspended for the next league match. In the cup, a ban is already made after the 2nd yellow card. A yellow-red card automatically leads to a lock for the next official game (not postponed). If a player receives a smooth red card, the WAH team will discuss the penalty and length of the lock.
3.9 Extra Time
The referee is capable to add additional playing time to the regular playing time of a half-time. He should announce this before the end of the regular playing time in the chat of the room, even if he does not want to add any extra time. If the extra time has elapsed, it is up to the referee to give a last attack (for example, if a team is currently in a promising attack situation).
3.10 Reporting of Results
Each official game must be recorded by both teams using the Rec function. After the game, the teams should decide about which team uploads the Rec file to a suitable platform and send the result in the appropriate thread in the forum. If both teams do not have a complete record of the match, the WAH team will discuss a replay date or, if necessary, a defloss for BOTH teams. Players' stats must be submitted according to the criteria stated in the forum until 11:59 pm following day.
3.11 Protest against Match Results
Each team has the opportunity to write a protest about a game. However, there should be good reasons for this (for example, in unsporting behavior). In a protest the corresponding team should explain their reasons and point directly to the questionable play situations. A protest must be posted within 24 hours of the report of the game in the forum in order to be valid.
4. Unsportsmanlike behavior
4.1 Misbehavior
Unsportsmanlike behavior is prohibited in the WAH community at any time. This includes in particular:
- Insultings
- Provocations
- Racism
- Unfair Behavior
If a player or even a whole team is attacked by such behavior, the affected persons should immediately report it to one of the admins and explain the situation. Misbehavior during a game can be reported afterwards in the report of results or in a protest. Violations against this rule are consistently punished by the WAH team. In each case, individual decisions are made on the sentence.
4.2 Forbidden ToolsAll kind of tools that give a player an advantage during the game are strictly forbidden (e.g., macro, speed hack). If a player has proven forbidden tools, he will immediately get a ban from the community. ALL GAMES that this player has played up to this point are punished with a 0:3 defloss for the team of the corresponding player.
4.3 FakingIt is forbidden to impersonate other players. Violations are punished with a permanent ban from the community.
5. Rule changesThe admin team reserves the right to modify, add and remove rules at any time. If a member of the community finds a missing or bad formulated rule, feel free to inform the WAH-Admin-Team.
